POLICE TRAINING AT SCC CANCELLED
The police training that was scheduled to take place on our campus on August 15th has been moved to another site. As the Shoreline Police developed their scenarios for this training cycle, they realized that our campus was just not the proper venue for the scenarios they had developed. Acting Safety and Security Director Herb Johnson says that Shoreline PD hopes to use our campus in a future training cycle.
Shoreline Police Capt. Kent Baxter, an SCC alumnus, said "We're sorry this event didn't work out," "However, we will be looking for future opportunities to work with the college on security and other issues."
