New Password Requirements
The new system requires stronger passwords than before, and the passwords are
now case-sensitive, which means that
capitalization matters. The rules are now:
- Minimum length of 8 characters
- Minimum of 2 letters, e.g. A-Z or a-z, at least one UPPERCASE, at least
one lowercase
- Minimum of 1 number
- Minimum of 1 special character, e.g. !, %, $ but NOT @, &,
#, or *
- ==> These requirements must be met in the first 8 characters of
the password! So if you have a long password with
your number or special character is at the end, it will not work
- You may not re-use any of your previous six passwords
- Your password will be good for 60 days. 10 days before your password
expires you will receive a password change notice
To Reset Your Password
1. Logon to the new system
2. Choose the menu item labeled "Change Your Password" (It may not be number 7
for you)

3. Enter the password you logged onto the HP3000 with this session.

4. Enter your new password twice. Follow the
New Password Requirements above when coming up with your password

5. If there is no problem you will be returned to the previous

6. If there is a problem you may get a confusing message (State
