New Password Requirements

The new system requires stronger passwords than before, and the passwords are now case-sensitive, which means that
capitalization matters. The rules are now:

  • Minimum length of 8 characters
  • Minimum of 2 letters, e.g. A-Z or a-z, at least one UPPERCASE, at least one lowercase
  • Minimum of 1 number
  • Minimum of 1 special character, e.g. !, %, $ but NOT @, &, #, or *
  • ==> These requirements must be met in the first 8 characters of the password! So if you have a long password with
your number or special character is at the end, it will not work
  • You may not re-use any of your previous six passwords
  • Your password will be good for 60 days. 10 days before your password expires you will receive a password change notice
